" A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference"

- Eeyore, "Winnie-the-Pooh"

Hey There

So what's a Comfort Kit. Well it's nothing new, but needed everyday.  While going through chemotherapy, the harsh medicine does a number on you.  So there are a few little things that can make the time in the chair just a little better.

Hand sanitizer

Tissues

Lip balm

Mints and hard candy

Water or juice

A personal note

Crackers / Pretzels

These comfit kits are assembled by caring volunteers and delivered to local cancer treatment centers.  The items are contained in clear bags.

They can not include

Political or religious material

Baked goods

Concealed objects

How you can Help

At various events we provide an opportunity for you or your group to assemble these Comfort Kits to be distributed at partnering treatment centers.  You can organize your own group or organization to do the same.  In 2019 we had various Scout troops (see COMFORT MAIN PAGE) assemble kits themselves, some with their cookie sale money, some with the items we supplied.  It all helps.

See EVENTS for locations

Maybe you would like to help, but don't have the time.  Well we have the answer

Check out our Wish List, items you can purchase to fill these Comfort Kits so that you or others can assemble them.
