   Shirley Jean Vines

 

Born September 26, 1958.  Baptized at Hickory View Missionary Bapitist Church in Rocky Mount North Carolina.  She went to school in Nash County, University of North Carolina and Chapel Hill, and DeVry University in Irving Texas.

Shirley loved the Lord, She kept a praise on her lips and a song in her heart.  She had a song to sing for every occasion.  God used her life. testimonies, and songs to uplift and impact the lives of many.  She was an avid reader ungifted writer of poetry and short stories.  She used her gift to quietly minister to support others in need.

Shirley believed in telling the truth and was known for her direct approach, quick wit, and dry sense of humor by all who loved her. She would often share stories to make her point.  She enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends
