Dine and Donate Events
By patronizing The Village Pub Swedesboro, The Village Pub Sewell, and CINDER BAR in Clarksboro during these event, 15% of the bill was donated to Pink Clover. So if your lunch was $20, then the restaurant donated $3 when you showed the voucher.
That may not seem like much, but it cost you nothing more than showing the voucher from the events page. And trust us, Everything Matters.
So THANK YOU!

August 03 2018 Gift Presentation
On behalf of the Colleen Sorbello Breast Cancer Foundation board, we presented Colleen Brooks a check to assist her while she deals with the burden of cancer therapy. This gift was made possible by the generosity of those who attended the August 3rd Golf event.
Colleen Brook's Story
In March of 1985, just a little over a month after turning 15 years old, Colleen was diagnosed with Stage 4B Hodgkin’s Disease.
She underwent 9 months of chemotherapy treatments. Treatments and care, which she confirms were far less advanced than those of today.
In December 1985, treatments concluded, and it was determined that Colleen was in remission.
Follow-up appointments continued for nearly 20 years and it was then determined that Colleen was cured and had beaten the odds.
Fast forward to August 2014, nearly 30 years after Colleen’s diagnosis of childhood cancer, and she was advised she had breast cancer.
Colleen underwent a double mastectomy in 2014 and subsequent treatments through MD Anderson Cancer Center. She continues her care with them, including monthly and daily medication regimens.
At the time of Colleen’s breast cancer diagnosis, she was unemployed and due to the cancer diagnosis was unable to secure employment. This resulted in significant financial challenges.
Colleen shared a glimpse of the financial struggle including disconnection of utilities, debts in collection, her home in foreclosure and scheduled for sheriff’s sale, etc. Ultimately, she received assistance to save her home, but the many other financial struggles have continued.
She has conveyed not only how incredibly grateful she is to be receiving our support, but also how honored she is to be receiving this assistance tonight in Colleen’s memory.
Colleen has conveyed that her faith and trust in God is critical in her life and she knows that God has a purpose for each and every struggle.
She wholeheartedly believes that empathy is a far greater teacher than sympathy.
She is grateful that God is able to use her testimony to help others who are facing comparable challenges and to simply let them know they are not alone.
Prior to Colleen’s breast cancer diagnosis, she had spent 20+ years serving others through her non-profit employment as a Chief Financial Officer and hopes to return to the workforce so she is able to once again make a difference in the lives of others.

April 2018 Mullica Hill Sun
Breast Cancer Foundation named after Mullica Hill resident gets mission in motion
Special to The Sun
A breast cancer foundation whose facets are focused towards research, lectures, and providing service towards comforting those experiencing treatments for breast cancer are the tenets of this premise with an idea and action. At the start of April, a South Jersey foundation, the Colleen Sorbello Breast Cancer Foundation — also known as Pink Clover — launched their charity’s website, www.pinkcloverfoundation.org.
The Colleen Sorbello Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit foundation with concentrated services and research dedicated to breast cancer. Before her passing due to complications with breast cancer, Sorbello helped others suffering with the same cancer. After her passing, the foundation took on Sorbello’s initiative; her husband, Sam, family and friends played big roles and continue to do so. The foundation’s mission is to Research, Educate, Comfort and Live.
On the site, viewers can discover the story of Colleen Sorbello and her battle with breast cancer. The mission, events, news, donation details and contact information can all be found on the site.
